3rd Road 888 (Sah Tiau Lor) Hokkien Mee @ Gat Lebuh Presgrave, Georgetown, Penang: Best Hokkien Mee As Voted By The Crowds Daily!

I knew it's hard for my blog readers to trust what I wrote whole-heartedly all the time. I also knew that most of us have different taste buds to begin with. So, today I will let the crowds to decide. More specifically, 'Penang crowds', who are the most food conscious and most particular about their foods. You can judge how great (not 'good' as most foods in Penang are good, hehe) a food stall/ restaurant in Penang by the size of the crowds at the food stalls/ restaurants.

And today, I'll recommend my favorite Hokkien mee a.k.a prawn noodles in Penang. Within the short section of Lebuh Presgrave road, there are a lot of Penang's favorite. Virtually all food stalls there are my favorites!!!

Just join me for a short write-ups on the food stalls before try it out yourselves!

Bangkok Lane Mee Goreng @ Georgetown, Penang: Best Mee Goreng!! (So Many BEST Foods In Penang Until I Lost Track!)

Another 'must-eat' food when you're in Georgetown, Penang, mee goreng!

Mee goreng is actually fried noodle. It is made popular here by Penangites of Indian-Muslim ethnic (or more commonly called 'Mamak'). Their foods command huge following because of their distinct, excitingly spicy (sometimes), super-delicious and palatable amongst Malaysians.

Penang Hot Bowl White Curry Mee @ Abu Siti Lane, Georgetown, Penang: Unique White Curry Mee, Only In Penang?

It was certainly interesting to know of the existence of''white' curry mee located at the center of Georgetown. So much so when I heard it taste great also! I went there without much delay...the same day actually:)

WHITE curry mee!! (RM5.50)
It was located along Abu Siti Lane, on your left once you're about 2/3 the length of the Abu Siti Lane road. Parking was slightly cumbersome but if you're lucky enough, you can park at this shop front, which can accommodate about 2-3 'small' cars. Otherwise, you'll have to park along the road, which I'm confident you won't be summoned during lunch hours (our policemen are so understanding, sometimes!).

Chicken Leg Loh Mee @ Medan Selera Taman Free School, Penang: Delicious, Yet Unpretentious:)

If you happen to be hungry and driving along Jalan Masjid Negeri and notice a McDonald along the road on your left side, don't eat at McDonald! You're in Penang wey...great foods is at every corner! Turn left into the road named Free School Road, drive along the road until you reach a roundabout and take notice of a food court there called Medan Selara Taman Free School next to the roundabout.

There are a few nice food stalls in it. I'll share with you one of it tonight, which is named Chicken Leg Loh Mee:)

Many thanks! I'm back:)

Well, it had been about half a year since I last blogged. I had this super tough exam in May 2012, which I passed 6 papers, yay! Worth all the sacrifices and all the overnight camping in McD (thanks for all the free coffee!).

So...why haven't I start blogging as promised, in June? Well, the exhaustion post-exam is just too much to bear. Plus, I'd been transferred to another center to further my training, which is busy throughout working hours, which then usurps all my energy at night.

I will try to blog if time and energy permits. Your support sustain me here. I'm encouraged by the overwhelming support despite this blog being inactive for so long. I even managed to reach 100 000 page views a few weeks ago!

Many thanks! I'm back:)
