Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake @ Food Foundry, PJ: Best? Special? Over-Rated, Over-Priced, Over-Expectation!!

I went to Food Foundry today after my friend told me about their one of the kind dessert, Mille Crepe cake. 'Mille' means a thousand in French but don't expect a thousand layers of crepe here. It's just a little more than 15-20 thin layers of crepe.

Food Foundry located on the ground floor of Happy Mansion apartment, PJ.

Best Duck Rice In KL And PJ Is In S.E.A Park, PJ? Err...Nope! Good But Not Great.

I managed to find Restoran Sunrise finally!

Restoran Sunrise @ Seapark, PJ. Long queues until outside of the restaurant, indicating good/ great foods inside!

Soong Kee Beef Noodles @ Jalan Silang (Main) and Lot 10 (3rd Generations): My Favorite (And Best) Beef Noodle In KL Since My Mum First Brought Me Here:)

I can still remember vividly when I was young(er), my mum would bring me to KL by train just to jalan-jalan.

Soong Kee Beef Noodle, since 1945 @ Lot 10 Hutong food court. Operated by '3rd Generations' but I think more so by foreign workers, haha. Just joking. Of course the multi-millionaire bosses don't need to work:)

Everytime we went to Central Market (Pasar Seni), we would definitely walked a bit more to Soong Kee Beef Noodle Restaurant nearby. I wasn't sure where it was before they moved to the latest location at Jalan Silang off Jalan Tun Siew Sin. There were just so many people at that time, crowding the small and old restaurant.

Breakfast At Chawan, Bangsar: Food Sucks...But Good Coffee

Yesterday, I had planned what I wanted to eat today. What's my plan?

Chawan @ Bangsar. Corner shop lot, open air. It wasn't so hot because I went there in the morning. However, I can't imagine eating nasi lemak anytime during the scorching hot afternoon in Malaysia. Also, since coffee is their specialty, I'd expect a cozier environment for customers to spend their time enjoying their coffee.

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, KL: I Fell In Love With This Place...And Their Food Too!

If you want to bring your 'special' one(s) for a romantic breakfast, lunch, teatime or dinner...THIS is the place to go.

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, KL.View from outside.
The ambient and environment here is so 'not' KL. You'll be surprised to find, in the midst of all the high rise buildings and traffic jams in Kuala Lumpur, a nice little bungalow restaurant + cafe + bakery situated IN Kuala Lumpur! If I were to give ratings not taking into account the foods, it'll be 10/10!

Penang's Coconut Drive-Thru @ Anba Coconut Trading Snd. Bhd, Lorong Abu Siti, Georgetown, Penang

FRESH!

FRAGRANT!

COOLING!

What's the best dessert to take when it's hot? Or when you're sick?

Coconut, of course! Don't believe? Ask your mom:)

Dinner @ Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur: A Night To Remember...About The Food:)

An evening at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur already excites me, not to mention having dinner there too! However, all was not smooth going. I almost miss it because of the traffic jam! Luckily, I left early but only managed to reach there just in time only.
Dinner menu. I love the amount of effort they put into creating each dish.

Nasi Lemak LIVERPOOL @ Batu Lanchang, Penang!!! Another BEST!

Continental Bakery @ Jalan Nagor, Georgetown, Penang: Best And Healthy Buns Can Be Found Here!

Whenever my friend's mom, who's staying in Penang mainland, come to Penang island for a visit or just jalan-jalan, she'll buy back 1-2 weeks of bread supply from Continental Bakery. Why would she do that?

Corner shop along Nagor Road, Georgetown, Penang.

Kocha Taiwanese Delight @ Burma Road, Georgetown Penang: My take?

I still remembered that evening when I was working overtime and thought that I will be having my dinner alone. That was before an old (not that old actually, hehe) friend called me up. A meeting was struck instantaneously, plus with dinner too, how pleasant!
Kocha Taiwanese Delight. The parking is limited...just 3, reserved exclusively for customers only. No wonder I never noticed this restaurant before, it's hidden in this 'jungle-like' decor, wrong move.

New Paris Restaurant @ SS2, PJ: Growing Up With New Paris...Chinese 'Fast' Food

Asked anyone who's staying in PJ or SS2 or even those who'd studied at nearby University Malaya (UM) about New Paris restaurant and they'll tell you that they grew up together with New Paris. Yes, this restaurant had been here for a long, long time.

This restaurant is big, spanning three shophouses, full with tables and filled with people! Brightly lit, clean, spacious and airy. There are ample car park spaces. The parking spaces are 'booked' by the workers by putting a plastic chair on the parking space. Upon knowing that you're eating at the restaurant, they'll remove the plastic chair and let you park your car.

Sri Melaka @ Amcorp Mall, PJ: Sumptuous Malacca Foods For Lunch, Yay!

I love having long lunch hour during Friday afternoon. There's no mad rush to look for parking or reaching the restaurant on time, no scrambling to order and most importantly, no rushing to eat too. This is especially important when you're ordering 7 dishes for 7 people, not including drinks, soups and desserts! Friday lunch is always the best!

Restoren Sri Melaka @ Amcorp Mall, PJ.

We went to Restoran Sri Melaka @ Amcorp Mall, PJ for our delightful lunch. Upon reaching there, I'm surprise to see that:

Biskut Tupai Emas @ Taiping, Perak: Taiping Famous Biscuit

I was given two packets of this biscuit last week. According to the person who gave this biscuit to me, it's very famous in Taiping. Somehow, I only ate it because I skipped my lunch today and now feeling rather hungry. This biscuit is the only food I could find.

One packet of 'Biskut Tupai Emas' contains 10 'biskuts' in it.

Surprisingly, the biscuit is rather tasty and I ate three altogether, hehe. So, I just thought of blog briefly about the food that's suitable for all those with sweet tooth (not me, but I still like it...maybe too hungry, haha)

All You Can Eat Durians @ DurianSS2, PJ: Buffet Starting At RM9!!!

ATTENTION!!!

SS2 durian stalls...ALL MOVED TO SECTION 19, PJ
Jalan Harapan, Seksyen 19
46300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
GPS: 3.119629, 101.629385

Again, I missed Penang's famous durian festival this year. Last year also I didn't managed to make it, sigh!
The King of Fruits, DURIANS
Anyway, I'm currently 'transferred' to another food haven (although at the moment, Penang foods is still the best), in Petaling Jaya. I'm working just a stone throw away from...SS2!!! I'd been hearing about this place for ages.

Best Hospital Foods? Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH): Tasty And Healthy, Minus The Guilt:)

Going to hospital just to have my lunch/ dinner might sound a bit weird, right? Am I okay?:)

Penang Adventist Hospital A-La Carte menu. Many choices to choose from. You'll have to come repeatedly (just like me) to taste their variety of foods. ALL the foods served are of lacto-ovo vegetarian. The prices are reasonable.

Well, I did that not only once...but a few times at Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) because the foods served there were rather 'special'. FYI, PAH observes a strict lacto-ovo vegetarian diet since 1924 (when the hospital was established) to promote healthy diet at reasonable cost.
